Opening an account takes just a few minutes. Before you start, have these ready:
a phone number that can receive text messages
your email address
your passport or national ID
You need to be 18 or older.
Open the app and pick the country you live in. If we're not in your country yet, the app will tell you straight away.
Enter your phone number. We'll text you a 6-digit code.
Add your email. That's where your receipts, statements and security alerts go.
Enter your name, date of birth and citizenship exactly as they appear on your passport or ID. We check them during verification, and your name can't be changed later, so take a second to get it right.
Create a 6-digit passcode. You'll use it to open the app and confirm payments. It's not your card PIN.
Turn on notifications, so you know the moment money moves.
And you're in! One more step before you can add money, send it or get a card: verify your identity. It takes about 4 minutes.
